Job Summary
The Shutters Canada is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Showroom Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has previous sales experience, strong communication skills, and enjoys helping customers find the perfect window covering solutions for their homes and businesses.
As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will assist walk-in customers, answer inquiries, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and help guide customers through the sales process from consultation to order confirmation.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom
- Recommend suitable blinds, shades, shutters, and window covering products based on customer needs
- Prepare estimates and quotations accurately
- Follow up with leads, pending quotations, and existing customers
- Maintain strong product knowledge of all showroom products and services
- Coordinate with the installation and production teams regarding customer orders
- Keep the showroom organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally
- Assist customers with scheduling appointments and installations
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Meet sales goals and contribute to company growth
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales is required
- Experience in retail sales, showroom sales, home improvement, furniture, or window coverings is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident speaking with customers and closing sales
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with blinds, shutters, shades, or home décor products
- Experience using CRM or estimating software
- Customer service experience
