Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. A background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and hospitality is highly valued to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality
- Manage cash handling procedures and POS systems such as Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and service efficiency
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant’s offerings and enhance guest experience
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills required
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management, interviewing, and training staff
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; barista or food industry experience is beneficial
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction
