Our client, a faith based not for profit organization is seeking an experienced Church Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our church, event and daycare centers. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential administrative support to our Lead Pastor while overseeing the daily operations of our daycare and event facilities.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and operations management experience while ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the church.
Responsibilities:
Church Administration:
- Support the Lead Pastor with scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
- Manage church calendars, social media platforms, and membership liaison duties.
- Membership database management to ensure information accuracy.
- Ensure efficient office operations and handle special projects as needed.
Daycare Operations:
- Oversee the daycare center's daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality care standards.
- Manage staff, budgets, and educational programs to nurture a safe and enriching environment for children.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians while promoting the center within the community.
Facility & Event Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for event inquiries, coordinating bookings and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Manage event setups, staff assignments, and logistical arrangements to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain facility standards and oversee inventory to support seamless event operations.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, ideally within a church or nonprofit setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
- High attention to details
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, event planning, or hospitality industry experience a plus.
