Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Dynatrace monitoring solutions across diverse cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires a strong background in cloud platforms, operating systems, and scripting to ensure seamless application performance and infrastructure health. The Dynatrace Engineer will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver proactive monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities that enhance system reliability and performance.
Duties
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Dynatrace monitoring tools across cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Develop and implement custom dashboards, alerts, and automation scripts to improve observability.
- Monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot issues related to VMware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines using Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, and other automation tools.
- Analyze system logs and metrics from SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and application servers to identify bottlenecks or anomalies.
- Manage VPN connections and network configurations to ensure secure access to monitoring environments.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues related to Java applications, Oracle databases, and containerized environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies such as Kubernetes, container orchestration, and advanced cloud services to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms and operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; familiarity with cloud security practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience working with SQL databases like SQL Server, Oracle; understanding of database performance tuning is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN setup and management for secure remote access.
- Skills in Java development environment setup, troubleshooting, and performance optimization are desirable.

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
