Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for menu items. Making soups, sauces, pesto & chutney from scratch.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by washing and sanitizing regularly
- Support the kitchen staff with meal assembly and basic cooking tasks as needed
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Organize and store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the kitchen
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or food service is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and assist with meal preparation
- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
