We are hiring an experienced countertop and stone repair technician to complete residential service calls across the GTA.
This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who can work independently with granite, quartz and natural stone. You will also help establish quality standards and train future technicians as the company grows.
Main responsibilities
- Repair granite and quartz chips, cracks, seams and damaged edges
- Polish and restore natural-stone surfaces
- Remount and mechanically support undermount sinks
- Drill faucet holes and perform basic sink or cooktop modifications
- Diagnose damage and explain repair options to homeowners
- Protect customer homes and maintain a clean work area
- Document completed jobs with before-and-after photos
- Help train future helpers and technicians
Required experience
- 5+ years of countertop, stone, fabrication, installation or restoration experience
- Strong granite and quartz repair skills
- Experience with colour matching, adhesives and polishing
- Able to complete residential repairs without supervision
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
- Reliable, organized and comfortable travelling throughout the GTA
Additional experience is an asset
- Marble or cultured-marble repair
- Laminate countertop repair
- Tile or porcelain repair
- Fiberglass or acrylic repair
- Bathtub or tile refinishing
- Corian or solid-surface repair
- Training or supervising technicians
Applicants are not expected to have every additional skill.
Compensation
- $35–$45/hour based on verified experience
- Performance bonuses
