About the Role:
True Talent Solutions is hiring Field Sales Associates across Ottawa and the Greater Ottawa Area on behalf of a growing Food Service and Supplier company. Multiple territories are open now, and we are hiring immediately.In this role, you will visit local restaurants in your assigned territory and sell app-based services, food delivery solutions, and supplier products directly to restaurant owners and managers. This is face-to-face, relationship-based selling in your own community, not cold calling and not a call centre. Compensation is the higher of your hourly rate or your commission, so your base pay is always your floor and your earning potential has no ceiling. Full training is provided, and no industry experience is required to start.Strong performers have a clear path to grow into senior territory roles and leadership positions as the company expands across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Canvas and visit local restaurants and food service businesses within your assigned territory to generate new business and build lasting client relationships
- Present and promote app services, online food delivery platforms, and supplier product solutions to restaurant owners and decision-makers
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, walking prospects through features, benefits, and pricing clearly and confidently
- Use a consultative sales approach: listen to each client's needs first, then match them to the right solution
- Follow up with new and existing clients to nurture relationships and close outstanding opportunities
- Plan and manage your own daily route efficiently across your territory
- Log client visits, track interactions, and maintain accurate sales activity records

Qualifications:
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; this role is a strong launchpad for a sales career, with full training and mentorship included
- Experience in field sales, B2B sales, door-to-door sales, restaurant sales, food service, or another customer-facing role is a strong asset
- Experienced sales professionals seeking high-earning field work with uncapped commission are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry is a bonus but not required
- Comfortable approaching and engaging business owners and managers face-to-face, professionally and confidently
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-starter with solid time management; able to plan and execute a daily schedule independently
- Organized and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups across a territory
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and others), given the diversity of the Ottawa restaurant community
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle required
Compensation & Schedule
- $20.00-$25.00/hr base pay, paid biweekly
- Commission on top; compensation is the higher of hourly or commission, so base pay is always the floor
- 7-hour shifts, generally 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (downtown territories 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
- Monday to Friday; select territories Tuesday to Saturday
- Multiple positions available across Ottawa and the Greater Ottawa Area; territories open now
- Onboarding includes approximately 3 hours of online training, followed by shadowing a top performer, then working independently
- Personal vehicle required daily; gas, mileage, and parking are not reimbursed
