Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Partner with ops leaders and change partners to scope and prioritize automation opportunities. You'll be brought problems to solve, and your job is to ask the right questions, define the right solution, and build it.
- Design and build AI-powered workflows and agent configurations that reduce manual effort and improve consistency at scale.
- Think across functions and break down silos. The best solutions often live at the intersection of teams, and you're comfortable going wherever the problem leads.
- Deploy, test, and iterate on what you build, defining success metrics, measuring impact, and maintaining visibility into what's working through dashboards and reporting.
- Evaluate agent output quality in production, identify failure modes, and drive improvement cycles based on what you find.
- Define and continuously refine best practices for how AI tooling is built and deployed within the ops division, setting the standard, not following it.
- Stay ahead of the tooling landscape and bring new approaches, frameworks, and capabilities to the team before we're behind.
About you
- 3–5 years in a technical or operations role with hands-on experience building workflow automations and process improvements. Direct experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, or agent configuration is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to ship production-grade automations, not just prototypes. You should be able to show us something you built and walk us through what you'd do differently now.
- Strong understanding of business operations and processes, with the ability to build for how people actually work, not how a spec says they work.
- Comfortable working with data. You can define what to measure, build the visibility to track it, and use what you find to drive decisions.
- (Preferred) Fintech or SaaS operations experience; hands-on familiarity with agent frameworks and workflow automation tooling.
Our benefits package includes:
- Hybrid working model that requires you to be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Competitive salary and equity
- Matching RRSP
- Extended benefits, Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, AD&D, LTD
- Maternity, Paternity and Fertility Treatment benefits
- 15 days of PTO
- Subsidized lunch on office days
- Fresh fruit, snacks & drinks in office
- Phone/internet allowance
- Regular company-wide social events
- Multiple ERG groups celebrating our diversity and creating an inclusive culture

Expected Total Compensation: $96,800 - $122,100 CAD annually (includes base salary plus target bonus/commission).
The compensation information, above, reflects our reasonable expectation for this role based on several factors, including current market conditions.
