Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage and support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This role works closely with the accounting team and management and is responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll support, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
A bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and international CA / CPA credentials will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Manage and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping
- Prepare bank, credit card, and batch reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Reconcile intercompany AR/AP balances
- Support payroll processing
- Assist with GST, PST, WCB, PD7A, T2 year-end filings, and audits
- Monitor fund levels, including Lines of Credit (LOC)
- Respond to accounting inquiries from internal teams and branches
Qualifications & Skills
- CA / CPA designation preferred (international credentials will be considered)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
