Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on restaurant management and exceptional customer service. Will be in charge of day to day duties and activities, Tuesday to Saturday. 12-9pm shifts. We would do a four day work week for the right candidate.

Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Manage and train staff, including interviewing, hiring, and developing team members to enhance performance and service quality.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and transaction management.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth among staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff to identify areas for improvement and training needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
