We are currently hiring several Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer who is legally blind and has Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) with all activities of daily living.

This is a fragrance-free position due to the employer’s medical condition. Staff must be able to adhere strictly to a scent-free environment, including avoiding perfumes, scented personal care / laundry products, and smoke residue. Preference to someone who is already practicing Fragrance Free/Scent Free lifestyle.
She loves music, especially classic rock, oldies, '90s hits, and pop and often sings in the shower. If you're someone who doesn’t mind a little music during your shift (or enjoys singing along!), you'll be a great fit
Location:
- Port Coquitlam (Near Chelsea Park)
Coverage Dates & Hours of Work
- August 6th - September 5th
- Thursday and Friday
- Split Shift: 4:00PM-5:30PM and 9:00PM-10PM
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Assist with personal care routine (including but not limited to), toilet routine and peri-care, shower routine, dressing/undressing, help with compression stockings
- Range of motion exercise and medication administration
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with transfers (Physical Transfers, Hoyer Lift, Stair Lift)
- Bedtime Routine including personal hygiene, dressing, sinus rinse
- Light housekeeping
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate who uses fragrance free personal hygiene and laundry products (client has multiple chemical sensitivities)
- Smoke/fragrance free home and vehicle
- Non-Smoker
- 1 year of Caregiving experience (minimum)
- Driver’s License (Class 5) and vehicle
- Criminal record check required
- Comfortable with Peri-Care and Personal Hygiene care routines
