Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative kitchen staff to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and the ability to lead a culinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and recipes
- Oversee kitchen staff, including training and supervision
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget control
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal offerings and special event menus
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including food handling, preparation, and safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
