Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or currently completing a degree) in Engineering or a related STEM discipline
- Graduates or senior undergraduate students from the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, or McMaster University are strongly preferred
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset
- Industry or engineering work experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with youth and helping students achieve their academic goals
Responsibilities
- Teach engineering and STEM-related subjects to elementary, high school, or introductory university students
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
- Mentor students in academic enrichment, engineering competitions, and hands-on projects
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity
- Create a supportive, positive, and engaging learning environment
