We are growing and looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Production Coordinator to join our team.
Role Overview
The Signage Production Coordinator / Scheduler helps keep projects moving smoothly through the shop. This role includes production support, installation assistance, inventory management, and vendor coordination. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of scheduling, hands‑on work, and operational organization in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling & Communication Manage daily and weekly production schedules, ensuring jobs move smoothly from intake to completion. Communicate proactively with Sales, CSRs, production staff, installers, and customers to confirm timelines, clarify job details, and resolve issues before they impact deadlines. Maintain clear updates on job status and adjust schedules as needed to keep projects on track using Computerized MIS software and tracking.
- Production Assistance, Equipment Familiarity & Quality Control — Support daily production tasks and assist with wide‑format printers such as HP R2000 flatbed Printer, many roll to roll printers, laminators, and CNC equipment; ensure all output meets quality standards.
- Installation Support — Assist installation teams with prep, materials, job packets, and occasional on‑site support.
- Inventory Management — Track materials, monitor stock levels, organize supplies, and place replenishment orders.
- Vendor Coordination — Request quotes, place orders, track outsourced jobs, and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the signage industry
- Experience with estimating signage projects (asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Clear communication and comfort working with multiple teams
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Familiarity with wide‑format printers, laminators, cutters, or CNC equipment is an asset
- Willingness to assist hands‑on in production or installation when needed
