Overview
Resolution Staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client for a CNC Machine Operator to join their growing manufacturing team in Peterborough, Ontario.
If you have experience working in a manufacturing environment, enjoy operating machinery, and take pride in producing quality parts while working safely, we'd like to hear from you.
Work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and enjoy every Friday off! This position requires flexibility to work both Day and Afternoon shifts as scheduled.

Duties
- Load raw materials into fixtures and vises safely and accurately.
- Operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Report machine issues or irregularities to the Lead Hand.
- Report quality concerns to the Quality Inspector.
- Complete production and quality documentation.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily machine care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or warehouse experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning CNC machining.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions; blueprint reading experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be available to work both Day and Afternoon shifts on a rotating basis.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Pay: $20.80-$21.84 per hour
