JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, test, calibration, and maintenance of valves, switches and measurement devices.
- Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Inspect and repair vales, switches and measurement devices according to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Install stainless steel tubing for chemical pump injection lines.
- Develop an understanding of process in oilfield gas plants, oil batteries and wellsites.
- Work with a variety of pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature level, composition
- Assist in the installation and termination of instrument tubing.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration reports, and work orders
- Test accuracy of flow meters, pressure gages, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
- Read and interpret P&ID’s and electrical drawings.
- Support general maintenance activities within the instrumentation department as required.
- A demonstrated ability to work safe.
- Complies with standards & procedures of the Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations

Education / Experience:
- Currently indentured into the electrical trade.
- If a Journeyman, a ticket must be supplied upon hire.
- Must be proficient in fundamentals of lockout/tagout.
- Familiarity with the work scope of other trades.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS).
- Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident requirement
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
Work Conditions
- Full-time hours (40 – 50 hrs a week)
- Flexible schedule
- Compensation varies depending on candidate and years of experience.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Must be willing to travel to work sites #HP
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$42.00 per hour
