Rosedale Transport is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Sales professional with a strong background in LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight to help grow our transportation and warehousing business.
This role focuses primarily on developing new business opportunities in West Greater Toronto and surrounding markets, building strong client relationships, and expanding our presence within the general freight sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new opportunities for Rosedale transportation and warehousing business primarily ( but not limited to) the GTA in the general freight market.
- Promote Rosedale’s transportation and warehousing solutions, with a focus on LTL services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Generate leads, conduct sales calls, and close new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in LTL transportation sales is required
- Strong understanding of the general freight market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to prospect and develop new business
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
