Bus Cleaner / Shop Helper
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Bus Cleaner / Shop Helper to join our team. This is an entry‑level position ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a transit or fleet maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail buses internally and externally to maintain a high standard of appearance
- Perform routine yard duties, including fueling, sweeping, garbage removal, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility
- Assist mechanics and maintenance staff with basic shop tasks as required
- Move buses within the yard and position vehicles for service and cleaning (valid licence required)
- Conduct basic visual inspections and report any damage or maintenance concerns
- Support general shop organization, including tool and equipment upkeep
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Provide professional and courteous interactions when working around staff or customers
Key Requirements:
- Valid G Class driver’s licence (required)
- Valid C Class driver's license is preferred but if the candidate does not hold the Class C, we will provide license upgrade training
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
