Duties:
- Must have the experience and the ability to run job sites from start to finish
- Able to keep on task and have projects meet their deadline
- Have the ability to multi-task
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Install new water lines and fixtures as per blueprints
- Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals to ensure efficient plumbing system installation
- Follow building codes and safety regulation
- Rates vary depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber. 5 years experience required.
- RED SEAL
- Backflow prevention
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
- WHMIS
- Working at Heights
