We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with fuel purchases, convenience store items, and vehicle-related needs. This role requires a proactive approach to upselling products and services, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel and convenience store purchases.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station and convenience store areas.
- Monitor fuel levels and report any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Provide basic vehicle assistance, such as checking oil levels or tire pressure when needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes and basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- A strong understanding of technology sales can be beneficial for promoting related products.
