HRT Motors in High River, AB is looking to fill a Lot Attendant position with somebody that is reliable and has previous experience in the Automotive industry. This member will be directly involved with our day-to-day Sales and Service Department activities. The ideal candidate is self motivated, works well without supervision, and a quick learner. Group benefits are available after 3 month probationary period.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Detail vehicle for showing and delivery
- Communicate any issues with staff or guests
- Maintain the cleanliness of work spaces and lot
- Provide shuttle/courtesy rides for customers
- Pick up or deliver parts if needed
- On-site Tire Storage duties
- Assist Technicians with clean up duties if needed
- Lawn, Building and lot maintenance
- Participate in all training by Toyota as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsibilities and duties will grow together with the company
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Proficient organization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to withstand a manual labor job
- Ability to lift objects 50lbs and heavier above your head (i.e. tire storage)
- Previous experience as a Lot Attendant is an asset
- Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Availability to work Saturday is an asset
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to work in a high paced, high stress environment
- Local resident to High River is preferred but not required
