THE POSITION
Keyera offers a unique opportunity within the oil, NGL and gas infrastructure industry for top industry talent to contribute, influence and grow with the company. This position is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to increase Keyera’s Total Shareholder Return.
The Team Lead, SCM Data & Systems provides business leadership for Supply Chain technology, reporting, analytics and data governance. This role is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction, stewardship and continuous improvement of SCM systems and reporting capabilities while enabling data-driven decision making across the Supply Chain function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own SCM reporting and analytics, including KPIs, system reports, dashboards and Value Creation performance tracking.
- Lead ongoing stewardship and business ownership of SCM systems and platforms, including SharePoint, GEP, ISN, Maximo and related tools.
- Coordinate system support, enhancements and continuous improvement priorities, acting as SCM liaison with Applications Management Support Team (AMST) and other internal technology partners.
- Oversee SCM data system requirements, including material and service master data quality activities.
- Develop and support system-related training, user adoption materials and business guidance to improve consistency and effective use of SCM systems.
- Provide strategic support for Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay and Procure-to-Pay process evolution, system optimization and future-state roadmap development.
- Lead SCM Data team activities related to Keyera’s Maximo Instances, ensuring priorities, actions and outcomes are coordinated across SCM and business stakeholders.
- Contribute SCM technology inputs into the 5-year plan, including capability needs, system investments, roadmap priorities and value opportunities.
- Advance SCM technology and data capabilities through tools such as Power BI, Databricks and other analytics platforms that enable reporting, insight and decision support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Keyera’s future Team Lead, SCM Data & Systems will have a related post-secondary education and a minimum of seven years of Supply Chain Management experience. Business Degree and/or an Accounting/Finance designation an asset.
- Demonstrated understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Contract management, Procure-to Pay, Materials & Inventory Management.
- Broad understanding of ERP systems and experience implementing Supply Chain systems.
- Ability to work with Keyera leadership to communicate vision and influence strategic change in the Supply Chain function
- Collaborative mindset, willing to work alongside the subject-matter experts and Business Unit clients to ensure SCM reporting and systems are measuring and impacting what really matters to the business.
- The candidate will have a long track record of successfully progressing ideas through to implementation.
- Strong financial acumen is required for this role, as this position will own all SCM reporting, data analytics and performance metrics.
- The right candidate will be a relationship builder; able to navigate the organization and rally the appropriate corporate resources behind critical business initiatives.
- The candidate will demonstrate a commitment and passion for Supply Chain and the value it can drive in the energy sector.
