Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
· Menu Development -Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's vision and standards.
· Food Preparation - Ensureall dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation.
· Staff Management - Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
· Inventory Control -Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
· Sanitation Standards -Ensurecompliance with Interior Health and safety regulations, maintaininga clean and organized kitchen.
· Quality Control - Conduct regular inspections of food storage, preparation areas, and equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
· Operational Support - Assist in the planning and execution of extraordinary events, catering, and other culinary activities as needed.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role.
· Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to create innovative and appealing dishes that meet the restaurant’s standards.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
