Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the installation of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. A valid G.3 Gas Technician License is required. Previous installation experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, and related equipment.
- Perform gas piping and appliance connections in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Follow manufacturer installation specifications and company procedures.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at job sites.
- Complete required job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Valid G.3 Gas Technician License (required).
- Previous heating and air conditioning installation experience is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- G.2 Gas Technician License.
- Experience installing residential heating and cooling systems.
- Working at heights certification.
- Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification.
- Enrolment or completion of a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprenticeship program.
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
