Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dealership repairs and mechanical knowledge is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to perform body repairs
- Remove dents, replace panels, and perform collision repairs with precision
- Sand, paint, and finish vehicle surfaces to meet factory standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair processes
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with bodywork
- Background in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
