Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated dental team. Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with periodontal assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
- Support the dentist during examinations and procedures, including chairside assistance when necessary
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized
- Manage patient flow efficiently to ensure a smooth appointment schedule
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for record keeping and scheduling
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Support pediatric patients and assist with orthodontic or other specialized treatments as required
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric or orthodontic patients
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care processes
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
- Experience in dental assisting or customer service roles is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and OSHA regulations

Pay: $38.54-$61.54 per hour
