Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks that keep construction projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to support carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, and other trades
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Perform demolition work when required, including removal of old fixtures, drywall, or flooring
- Support with installation activities such as tile laying, caulking, painting, plumbing rough-ins, and flooring installation
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely following all safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with general building sites is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools is essential
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to support various trades
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, painting, plumbing basics, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills

Pay: $18.09-$31.07 per hour
