Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a professional team in a dynamic environment, utilizing heavy equipment and driving skills to support our logistics operations.
Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of freight and operation of heavy equipment
Experience
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or logistics preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment, and automotive repair is a plus
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety procedures
Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
