We are looking for an experienced Rope Access Supervisor!
RAM, Rope Access Maintenance Inc., is a premium Rope Access provider located within Toronto, Ontario. RAM provides Construction, Maintenance and Inspection services throughout Canada.
We are currently seeking an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor for a 7–8 week fixed-term project, working primarily nights.
The successful candidate will supervise and work alongside a rope access crew on general construction, maintenance and installation activities while maintaining RAM and IRATA safety standards.
Project Schedule
- Fixed-term project: approximately 7–8 weeks
- Primarily night shift
- Monday through Friday nights
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Approximately 40–50 hours per week
- Project may transition to day shift during the later stages of the work
- Candidates must have flexibility to accommodate the project schedule

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide rope access safety supervision and leadership to project crews.
- Organize work areas, access systems, equipment and daily work activities.
- Execute and supervise projects from inception through completion by means of rope access.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with IRATA requirements, RAM procedures and site-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct and support toolbox talks, equipment checks, rescue planning and daily work planning.
- Ensure workers are provided with and use appropriate PPE and equipment.
- Maintain operational safety of rope access, rigging and fall protection systems.
- Support construction, maintenance, repair and installation activities as required.
- Liaise with RAM Operations, Project Coordinators and site crews to ensure work scopes are understood and executed to a high standard.
- Participate directly in project work alongside the crew as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current IRATA Level 3 certification required
- Rope Access Experience: 3–5 years preferred
- Supervisory / crew leadership experience preferred
- Construction Experience: 3–5 years preferred
- RASS (Rope Access Safety Supervisor) preferred
- Working at Heights, Worker Awareness and Supervisor Awareness
- Canadian residency with a Social Insurance Number OR a current valid work permit
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and reliable transportation
- Must be available for the full 7–8 week project duration
- Must be available for night shifts, with flexibility to transition to days if required
