Job Opportunity: Red Seal Machinist
JP Machine Works Ltd. is seeking a qualified, full-time Red Seal Machinist for an immediate start at our shop in Williams Lake, BC.
Position Overview:
Wage: $35.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-time)
Location: 3-1125 South Lakeside Dr, Williams Lake, BC
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Recreate parts and produce drawings directly from sample components.
- Disassemble mechanical assemblies and equipment components to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Position Requirements:
- Red Seal Machinist designation, 3rd or 4th year apprentice’s will be considered based on experience
- Must be competent with manual machines
- Must successfully pass mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with proven experience in any of the following specialized areas will receive priority consideration
- Hydraulic cylinder repair
- Mobile line boring
- CNC programming and operation
- Welding and fabrication
Wages & Benefits:
Competitive Wages: $35.00 – $48.00 per hour.
