What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering commercial construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Manage contracts, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, invoicing, and financial performance
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
- Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and quality standards
- Support project turnover, deficiencies, and closeout activities
- Build strong relationships through excellent communication and project delivery
What You Bring
We are looking for a collaborative construction professional who is organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering successful projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Project Manager: 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Senior Project Manager: 10+ years of commercial construction experience managing complex projects
- Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, municipal, education, or multi-family construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6 is an asset
- Professional designations such as PMP, Gold Seal, CET, or P.Eng are considered assets but not required
