Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista/Server to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following company standards
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including sanitizing equipment and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times during food handling and serving processes
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or server in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in food service or food handling roles demonstrates strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to serve customers promptly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards ensures proper handling and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are vital for creating positive guest interactions
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
