Design & Sales Consultant
Compensation: Base salary + commission

We are seeking an experienced Design & Sales Consultant who is driven, detail-oriented, and confident managing projects from initial consultation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within new home construction, renovations, and remodeling projects.
- Design cabinetry solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, budget, and client needs.
- Consult with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and project goals to create practical design solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance projects through additional features, storage solutions, accessories, and product upgrades.
- Prepare accurate drawings, specifications, and quotations within required timelines.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and mark-outs while coordinating with trades regarding plumbing, electrical, and site conditions.
- Review project details carefully to identify potential design conflicts, code considerations, or installation challenges before ordering.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the design, ordering, installation, and completion stages.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and industry partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of cabinetry sales and design experience.
- Proficiency in 2020 Design software (or equivalent kitchen design software).
- Strong understanding of kitchen and cabinetry construction, layouts, and space planning.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Working knowledge of Alberta Building Codes and residential construction practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable conducting on-site measurements and working directly with trades.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable and professional vehicle for site visits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00-$68,500.00 per year
