Role overview
As a Journeyperson at Cascade Mechanical, you will lead field installs and service work on plumbing, heating, gas for residential, commercial and multifamily projects. You will use your skills to deliver high quality workmanship, follow plans and code, and mentor apprentices.
Key duties
- Install, service and repair mechanical, plumbing, gas and heating systems to spec and code Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and gas fitting issues
- Plan and organize work to meet project timelines
- Ensure safety standards and site housekeeping are maintained
- Train and guide apprentices/journeypersons in training
Must-have
- Red Seal or equivalent Journeyperson certification
- Valid drivers licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors and in varied conditions
- CSTS
Nice to have
- Experience with hydronic and service contracts
- Gas fitting ticket or additional trade certifications
