Chan & Co., CPAs is a public practice accounting firm with CPA preapprove programs and practicing in full audit, special audits, review, and compilation engagements. We are currently looking for a full-time staff accountant. The salary will be negotiated depending on your experience. Working hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm with a lot of bankable overtimes during tax season.

Responsibility
- Prepare full cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare GST, PST, and payroll calculation
- Prepare compilation engagement financial statements and related T2 tax returns
- Prepare T1 personal tax returns
- Prepare T3, T4, T5 and other necessary tax forms as needed
Skills required
- Previous public accounting firm experience is a PLUS
- Willing to work hard and learn
- Knowledge with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Caseware, Sage50 and Quickbook is an asset but not essential
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline, and set priorities
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
