Overview
Okotoks Toyota is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Express Lube Service Advisor to join our automotive team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers by efficiently managing their vehicle maintenance needs, recommending additional services, and ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will have dealership or mechanic experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your sales and upselling abilities will contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.
We are looking to fill a Tuesday to Saturday full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a welcoming environment
- Assess customer vehicle needs related to oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic maintenance services
- Explain recommended services clearly and accurately, ensuring customer understanding
- Upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and feedback effectively
- Promote dealership services and build long-term customer relationships
Skills
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Proven sales ability with experience in upselling products and services
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
