Walnut Hill Farm – Meat Slicer and Packaging
Walnut Hill Farm is looking for 1 new member to join on a full-time or part-time basis as soon as possible! Benefits are available after 6 months (full-time only), starting hourly rate of $18.50 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery for slicing cooked product (occasional raw)
- Using a vac machine and label maker/weigh scale
- Packaging cooked and raw meat products
- Preparing orders for delivery and pick-up
- Able to lift and move 50lbs
- Answering phones
- Preparing invoices
- General cleaning duties
- Must have good communication and customer service skills
- Assisting with other various roles throughout the shop
Qualifications
- Available for full time work (Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Occasional Saturdays available (not required)
- Must be responsible and able to work independently
- Willing to learn and receptive to instructions/feedback
- Prior experience in meat processing is an asset, but not required
