Overview
The Raymond Reach Truck & Order Picker Operator is responsible for safely operating both a Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and a Raymond Order Picker (Cherry Picker) within a high-volume warehouse environment. This role supports inventory management, order fulfillment, replenishment, and put-away functions in narrow-aisle, high-racking systems. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at elevated heights in a fast-paced distribution setting.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach Truck to move, stack, and retrieve products in high-density racking systems, including narrow and potentially double-deep aisles.
- Operate a Raymond Order Picker (Cherry Picker) to accurately pick individual cases and items from elevated rack locations.
- Perform put-away of inbound shipments and replenish forward pick locations as required.
- Accurately fulfill customer orders based on pick sheets or order documentation while maintaining productivity standards.
- Load and unload trailers as needed.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of fall arrest systems and harness equipment when working at heights.
- Inspect products for damage and verify quantities to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety standards.
Experience
- Valid forklift certification for both Raymond Reach Truck (Narrow Aisle) and Raymond Order Picker (Cherry Picker).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating both types of equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Comfortable and experienced working at elevated heights using fall protection equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Working Conditions
- Full-time position: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs
- Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, and physically demanding tasks
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions for extended periods
- Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
