Job Overview
As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by providing compassionate, reliable, and professional care within their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to ensure a safe and tidy environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising nurses or care coordinators
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred but not necessary
