Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport and deliver bulk fuel to customer sites and tanks
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, driver logs and required delivery documentation
- Comply with all transportation, OH&S and company safety policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures for the safe handling and delivery of bulk fuel products
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
- Complete daily fuel reconciliations and assist with investigating fuel variances
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned truck
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist with other duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver's licence with Q endorsement
- Clean driver's abstract
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Able to perform physical work, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Self motivated, dependable and safety conscious
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer experience is an asset
Experience delivering fuel or other dangerous goods is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
