Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Must have a minimum 2 years of experience
The Position
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, holidays, flexible shifts
- Must be able to know how to work fryer, char broiler, and teppanyaki grill
- Prefer candidates with Japanese cuisine knowledge
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow sanitation procedures and handle food safely at all times
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of the food industry and restaurant operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
