Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with care, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal preparation during busy hours, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Support the team with food presentation, garnishing, and plating as needed
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Assist Store in daily duties and sales as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and teamwork attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to quality service
- Food Health and Safety Certificate
- Smart Serve Certified
- WHMIS Certified
