Superior Septic Services / Trademark Industries is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our growing team in Penticton, BC.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on a diverse fleet of heavy trucks, vacuum trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and support vehicles while continuing your apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air system issues.
- Assist with repairs and component replacements under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Participate in on-site service calls as required.
Qualifications
- Registered 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 1 or air brake endorsement is an asset).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
