Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cladder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing exterior wall panels and cladding systems on commercial and residential buildings. Responsibilities
- Install exterior wall panels and cladding materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and measuring tapes to accurately perform installations
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper placement and alignment
- Perform caulking around joints and seams to ensure weather-tight finishes
- Handle heavy lifting of materials safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Assist with site preparation, including framing, insulation, and surface preparation as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior construction experience is highly preferred, especially in exterior siding or cladding installation
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic carpentry skills required
- Knowledge of blueprint reading is essential for precise installation work
- Experience with caulking, sealing, or waterproofing is a plus
- Handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on scaffolding or ladders
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and physical stamina are necessary for success in this role
Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
