Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a specific brand of household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers and laundry. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service that restores their appliances to optimal performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration knowledge in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
We offer full training and support for the specific high end brand we repair but at least a base knowledge of appliance repair is needed. Wages will be reviewed after training/probation period is completed. We offer bonuses above salary based on calls completed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues by interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and customer descriptions and connected diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs on various appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens etc. with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- Conduct equipment repairs in the field using specialized tools and parts while maintaining a high level of safety compliance.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their understanding and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician within the field service industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting diverse appliance issues.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and equipment assembly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow detailed repair procedures accurately.

Pay: $21.00-$46.83 per hour
