Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Candidates should possess a valid AZ license and relevant experience in freight transportation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures during operations
- Assist with warehouse duties such as forklift operation for loading/unloading when required
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and commercial driving
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to punctuality
Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
