Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fredericton is looking for a Part-Time Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team!
Our newly renovated hotel is proud to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. Our Laundry Attendants play an important role in ensuring our Housekeeping Team has the clean linens and towels they need to maintain our high standards.
Position: Part-Time Laundry Attendant
Responsibilities include:
- Operating commercial washers and dryers
- Washing, drying, folding, and sorting hotel linens and towels
- Ensuring clean linens are properly organized and stocked
- Maintaining an organized and sanitary laundry area
- Delivering and stocking linen in housekeeping areas as required
- Monitoring linen supplies and reporting shortages
- Removing damaged or stained linens from circulation
- Following proper procedures for laundry chemicals and equipment
- Assisting the Housekeeping Team with other duties as required
- Maintaining the hotel's high standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Following all health, safety, and hotel policies
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting/moving bags of laundry and linens
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic
- Previous hotel or laundry experience is an asset, but training will be provided
