Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childcare Educators to join our team. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure children's safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence and independence
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily experiences
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom environment
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, meal times, and rest periods
- Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to operate computers and relevant software for documentation purposes
- Classroom experience demonstrating leadership and classroom management skills
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for early childhood development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education are advantageous
