Job Position: Sales Coordinator

Situated in the heart of Downtown Richmond’s Golden Village and adjacent to the Aberdeen Skytrain station, Radisson Vancouver Airport is an upscale full-service hotel with premium conference facilities. We are currently looking for a passionate, dynamic, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our leadership team in the role of Sales Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Sales & Marketing, Assistant Director of Sales and Sales Managers
- Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in summarizing and producing month-end and statistical reports as required
- Handle incoming calls/inquiries and qualify and consolidate necessary information from the caller prior to presenting the “sales leads” to the Director of Sales or Sales Manager
- Ensure all incoming calls are answered and responded in a timely fashion
- Handle smaller meetings from booking the business, to following through client’s requests, to liaising event logistics with internal departments (including Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Accounting, and Engineering etc), to delivering a successful event to the client towards the end
- Update internal departments with every requested change made by the client and ensure all deadlines are met
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, contracts and BEO (Banquet Event Order) for confirmed events
- Cope with last minute or on site requested changes from clients
- Conduct hotel site tours for pre-scheduled client’s visits and walk in clients
- Prepare and process final invoice for confirmed events
- Prepare quarterly review letters for corporate accounts
- Prepare daily welcome cards and amenity requests
- Attend weekly BEO meeting with Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef
- Maintain and update mailing lists and databases as required
- Attend daily sales meetings and weekly BEO meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Opera and Amadeus
- Fluent in both written and spoken English. A second language would be an asset
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- A self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and high stress environment
- Willingness to work extra hours and on weekends as the need arises
- Ability to work well independently and to possess strong communication and organizational skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- A team player
- The candidate needs to demonstrate reliability, accountability and strong commitments to the job
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
