Schedule: Day shift, approximately 4 days per week
Typical Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About Us
DW Home Decor is a growing home staging company serving Ottawa and the surrounding area. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Mover / General Labourer to join our team.
This role is mainly focused on moving furniture and staging items in and out of homes, loading and unloading the staging van, and supporting the team with general labour duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry and move furniture, décor, and staging items safely
- Load and unload furniture from the staging van
- Move items into client homes for staging setups
- Remove furniture and décor from homes during de-staging
- Help organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Assist with general labour tasks as needed
- Handle furniture and client properties with care and professionalism
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to safely lift and carry 75 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable
- Comfortable working in residential homes
- Able to work daytime hours during the week
- Previous moving, delivery, warehouse, or general labour experience is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule
This is a part-time position with daytime hours, typically between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, approximately 4 days per week.
Additional hours may be available based on business needs.
Compensation
- $21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
- Daytime schedule
